When an Oklahoma municipality needed reliable level measurement of their stormwater lift stations, they turned to Flowline. Water department operators were dissatisfied with the reliability of ultrasonic level sensors, and longevity of pressure level sensors in this application. The ultrasonic sensors were susceptible to signal attenuating foam or condensing water fog, and the pressure sensors required frequent replacement due to damage from turbulence. For these reasons, Flowline suggested the use of our non-contact radar sensors that are unaffected by foam, vapor or turbulence. The radar sensors provide continuous level data to the SCADA system which monitors the stations and controls the pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
