Oil Field Lubrication Tank Radar Level Measurement

When a Texas oil well service provider needed reliable level measurement of their bulk lube oil tanks, they turned to Flowline. Engine oil, gear oil, hydraulic oil and grease are steadily applied to the pumpjacks and well site support equipment. The lubricants are transported from distributor tanker trucks to field storage tanks to service trucks to point of use. Lubricant demand fluctuates based on the number wells in service, and the difference between supply or shortages is reliable inventory management. During the extreme summer heat, lubricants release vapor, and the field operators complained that past ultrasonic level sensors would become intermittent. For this reason, Flowline suggested our radar sensors that are unaffected by vapor and fluctuating temperatures. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the displays, which monitor each tank and alarm for lube oil replenishment. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
