Fracturing Acid Bulk Tank Ultrasonic Level Measurement

When an Oklahoma drilling fluid distributor needed reliable level measurement of their acid tanks, they turned to Flowline. The firm supplies hydrochloric, formic and acetic acids to drilling operators for use in hydraulic fracturing applications. Their terminal inventories are measured, and level data packets are periodically uploaded to their supply chain. The suppliers complained that the data was intermittent during the early morning or evening. The operator determined that their past ultrasonic level sensors were affected by the daily condensation cycles in the tanks. For this reason, Flowline suggested our proprietary reflective ultrasonic sensors that are unaffected by condensation.
