When a Southeast municipality needed reliable level measurement of their sewer lift stations, they turned to Flowline. These are liquid trash cans that fill with water, feces, paper, oil, grease, particulates and a variety of chemicals. The elements combine to reap havoc on contact level sensors or switches that fail due to coating and need frequent cleaning with an expensive downhole maintenance team. To fix the issue, the operator wanted to upgrade their stations to reliable level measurement with a local display in each panel. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our intrinsically safe, non-contact radar sensors that are easily mounted under the doors. The radar sensors provide reliable level data to the SCADA that controls the pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
