When Mansfield University of PA needed reliable level measurement of their dorm boiler feed water tanks, they turned to Flowline. The tanks contain hot water and steam condensate, maintained at 140º-180º F. based on the season. Tired of float level switch failures due to corrosion or scaling, and the resulting dorm water crisis, management decided to upgrade their feed tanks to reliable level measurement. Maintenance also required that the new level sensors be compatible for install in their existing stand pipe manifolds. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our guided wave level sensors that are unaffected by corrosion or scaling, and are easily installed in a stand pipe. The guided wave sensors provide continuous level data to the controller, which in turn, monitors the tanks and manages the boilers. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
