When a Canadian hospital needed reliable level measurement of their data center facility cooling tower, they turned to Flowline. With administrative, patient and doctor data streaming real-time through the network, their servers generate massive heat, which left uncooled, will soon result in a crash and jeopardize care. Previous cooling tower disruptions were caused by conductance and float level switch failures, due to corrosion and scaling build-up. For this reason, Flowline suggested the use of our guided wave level sensor that is unaffected by scaling, and constructed of 316 stainless steel. The guided wave sensor provides continuous level data to the PLC, which in turn, monitors the water basin and controls the fill valve. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
