When the National Marine Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland needed reliable level measurement of their brine water storage and animal quarantine holding tanks, they turned to Flowline. Central to their success is the reliable monitoring, filtration and movement of purified saltwater throughout their vast exhibit and process tank network. The operators required non-contact level measurement for water purity and separation from their sea life, and corrosion resistance for sensor longevity. For this reason, Flowline suggested the use of our ultrasonic sensors with plastic construction. The ultrasonic sensors provide continuous level data to the PLC, which in turn, monitors the tanks, and controls the water transfer pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
