When a California municipality needed reliable level measurement of their challenging pump lift stations, they turned to Flowline. The surrounding soil is clay based, and heavy rains carry streams of silt into the stormwater system. Over time, the fine red clay fills the stations, coats the equipment and creates operational and maintenance difficulties. Plant operators complained that previous pressure level sensors often clogged, requiring expensive maintenance or replacement. For this reason, Flowline suggested the use of our non-contact radar sensors that are specifically designed for storm, sewer or industrial lift stations. The radar sensor provides continuous level data to the SCADA that monitors the sump and controls the pumps. The level display provides convenient indication. Flowline is reliable level measurement. |
