Textile Effluent Lift Station Radar Level Transmitter

When a Southeast textile manufacturer needed reliable level measurement of their clarifier lift stations, they turned to Flowline. The plant generates lots of wastewater, filled with dyes, surfactants and detergents, that are generally treated through filtration and absorption. During treatment, the sticky and foaming effluent is pumped between a network of clarifiers prior to reclamation. There the I&C technician had problems with ultrasonic level sensors due to foaming, and pressure sensors due to coating, and they needed reliable measurement. For these reasons, Flowline suggested our non-contact LR31 radar sensor that’s robust and specifically designed for pump lift stations. The intrinsically safe radar provides reliable level data to the PLC, which monitors the stations and controls the pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
